The Solway Coast is within view of the bungalow and Kippford Sailing Centre within easy reach.
Situated on a quiet country lane, Self Catering Cottage Scotland offers a tranquil and comfortable base to explore Dumfries & Galloway. Tastefully furnished, the self-catering cottage boasts a comfortable living area, spacious kitchen, four relaxing bedrooms complete with an abundance of storage space, and two chic bathrooms. The bungalow’s games room will be a hit with fans of snooker, while the stunning sunroom, situated at the back of the property, offers the perfect space to unwind and relax with a nice meal and glass of wine while looking out to the impressive garden. With plenty of space to enjoy al fresco dining at the outdoor seating, the garden is ideal for evening meals and as a play area for children and adults alike.
Dumfries & Galloway encapsulates all that is great about walking in Scotland with one of the country’s most challenging long-distance walks, the Southern Upland Way, starting in the region. For a gentler stroll, explore the stunning coastline and cliff-top walks on offer around the Solway Coast, or trek through one of the area’s many magnificent forests such as Dalbeattie, Ae and Mabie. The Galloway Activity Centre on the banks of Loch Ken is a must for thrill-seekers and is particularly popular as there are a range of activities available from sailing and windsurfing to climbing and abseiling.
